The shot reminded me of little red riding hood and the wolf dressed as grandma but seriously that's a fantastic shot.

The humans feet are the same length as their wrist to elbow... my neck is the same length as beak - from lip to tip!

I love pelicans..they are the state bird of Louisiana where I went to nursing school...my comment - "I know Pinocchio's story about his nose growing whenever he told a lie - do you think it applies to a pelican's bill, too?"
