The statue is so life like !

Both the guard and the elephant have such a majestic air about them .

Great pic as usual Indrani .

He does indeed appear to be frozen. (like your title) I wonder how they an stand so still for so long. I'd faint for certain!

The elephant and the guard are both
~ emotionless ~
Would he start laughing when we tickled him ;)

I think it would be fun to see the guard sitting on top of the elephant!

I love the elephant - in that size it looks like a cute little baby.

As a real fidgeter myself I've always wondered too how those guards stand so still. I wouldn't last three minutes in that job!

I love how the elephant and the guard seem to have the same straight and determined look. Nice catch.

It's hard to tell whether the guy is a statue or real...Great photo! Thanks for sharing!

"don't move, or i'll jump," says the elephant.

"ssshhh.... quit talking, someone's taking a picture. just pose," replied the guy.

happy WW!

Nice shot. I like the comparison between the statue and the person who looks as still as a statue.

I did a Project 365 last year. I'll be checking back with you.

Alvis said...

Oops! Not a Project 365, I see. You are just numbering your Wordless Wednesdays. Still, I'll be coming back. :)

WOW! Great narrative shot. Do you know what the meaning of the box he is standing on is?

Indrani said...

Thanks for the lovely comments.

I have no idea what the red box is for.

What a great shot. The elephant and the man both posed and still as statues. The elephant looks so real I did a double take. The guard almost looks like a statue.

This photo says so much with it's motionless subjects. Very majestic.

There is silence and stillness here, almost like Earth waiting to take a breath.
