i love their vivid colors... when i was young, we would try to taste the nectar by pulling the thin "filament" in the middle of the flower *giggles*... i guess bees found their competition with us :)...

I have one of those in my backyard. The colors are such a vivid, hot...sunset creation, aren't they!!

lovely flowers...i have a nice memory of them...growing in my grandfather's garden.....it's been years since i went there....he's dead long time ago and the house and the garden lie in neglect..im sure of that....
