Photo Hunt - Shoes

Today's photo hunt theme is 'SHOES'.

And I have put up my pair. These embroidered shoes are from Jaipur, Rajasthan in India. They are called 'Jootis'. The unique feature of these shoes is that when they are sold, there is no specific left shoe or right shoe. You need to wear them, get your feet comfortable in them and remember to continue with the same foot in the same shoe. Over a period of time the shoe molds to the shape of your feet.

Interesting. They are very beautiful shoes. I can't wear these. Only a pair of special walking shoes for me. :(

Wow, very beautiful shoes and I like the fact that in time they mold to the shape of your feet and become very comfortable.

I love these beauties! Unfortunately, my feet are too big for eastern shoes, no matter how pretty! They just don't make them in my size. =(

How cool -- all shoes mold to your feet but these are designed to be that way

nice shoes,

On this Memorial Day remember my friends who died for your freedom.

Dear Lord, lest I continue in my complacent ways, help me to remember that someone died for me today. And if there be war, help me to remember to ask and to answer “am I worth dying for?”~

Wonderful shoes, and they must be the most comfortable of all once they are worn in to your own shape.

Thanks for visiting mine earlier :)
