Photo Hunt: Thirteen (13)

Today’s PhotoHunt theme is Thirteen (13) .

I have this photo for the theme. This board indicates the name of the road. The script you see on the board is Kannada which is the local language here.

My daughters’ school is on this road and I am there on this 13th main on all working days of the year. For me this road is in no way unlucky, infact it gives me immense happiness to be there chatting with other mothers who come to pick up their children.

I also love it when I get to pick up my daughter from school and have a little chat with the other mommies. :)

The script look familiar from my visit to India. I was in Tamil Nadu, and the local language was Tamil, but if the letters were any different you would not have convinced me.

Like you I don't think of 13 as being an unlucky number as I was born on the 13th!
Nice entry for the PH theme.

Surprising to find a road with the (unlucky) 13 on it. And in Asia of all places!

I have been stuck with 13 all life long - born on that day, you see. And it has turned out to be no luckier or unluckier than any other! Clever of you to have chosen the board with the name of the road you go to daily.
