    This shot can speak in so many ways.

    Croped like this I think of daugthers locked in, hidden from the world by their husbands/fathers..
    The ones that promised to 'keep them safe'.

    A truly powerful picture with a powerful message, at least for me.

    Nice photo...a picture can be interpreted in many different ways. It can be a simple doll, or can be a sign of oppression. Or a woman who has key, but cant use it....

    talk about a picture saying a thousand words!... this shot is sure open to many interpretations:)...and if i may add, maybe it's a symbol of coming of age --- as she now have the key to enter another realm beyond the confines of her cozy, safe world...

    and its meanings aside, the colors and the details of her dress are lovely:)...
