Aretippur village, Rural India
Last weekend we were at Aretippur, a village. This is the photo of a family seiving, winnowing and cleaning their harvest. We spent a few minutes watching them work.

New Neighbors
These shots were taken by my 11 year old daughter. I find it very interesting to see the world through her eyes. Not very great shots, but she spent some time tip toeing, observing and waiting patiently for the pigeon to get close to the other one.

Photo Hunt - Shoes
Today's photo hunt theme is 'SHOES'.
And I have put up my pair. These embroidered shoes are from Jaipur, Rajasthan in India. They are called 'Jootis'. The unique feature of these shoes is that when they are sold, there is no specific left shoe or right shoe. You need to wear them, get your feet comfortable in them and remember to continue with the same foot in the same shoe. Over a period of time the shoe molds to the shape of your feet.

Rhododendrons
Yesterday we were at a park closeby. This Rhododendron tree was in full bloom, the branches were quite low and I was lucky to get some close shots of the flowers.

Weekend at Devenahalli.
This weekend we were at Devenahalli, visiting many temples around that place. We found many monkeys roaming around that place. Some posed for me, like this one...
